ID Company was founded to provide technology support for small-to-medium sized businesses looking for ways to use technology to be more competitive, improve customer service, reduce costs, and increasing revenue.  

Started in 2002 by Thomas Johnson, after 13 years as Executive Vice President of Operations for another computer integration firm, YourVirtualCIO! was founded to solve these problems in a new way. Instead of reacting to problems, use technology strategically, to turn it into  a competitive edge, not a never ending expense. 

Through strategic planning, technical assistance, retraining IT staff, and selective outsourcing some systems, YourVirtualCIO! increases our customer's competitive edge.  It gets them out of the trap of mediocre support, solving the recurring problems that never seem to get solved at the source.

With extensive expertise building and training technical teams, he founded ID Company with the understanding that people truly are the key to success in any firm.  His commitment to his employee's and customer's personal growth, helping them to earn key certifications and awards, has significantly improved the delivery of computer support to many organizations.

Our founder holds a Bachelor of Business Management from LeTourneau University, and various certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer NT4/2000, Novell Master CNE in Netware 2/3/4/5 / LinuxWare / GroupWise, Cisco CCNA/CCDA, and Citrix CCA.
